This course will provide service users with information on the basic spiritual stances and the process by which a spiritual stance is developed. It will also introduce the definition of a 'Spiritual Experience' (especially in 12 Steps terms) and assist them to identify the difference between religion and spirituality. Participants will also be able to identify those attitudes that enhance or hinder the recovery process and finally, learn to develop attitudes that enhance their recovery. This module is based on the twelve-step understanding of spirituality. This module can be used independently or in conjunction with other modules to augment your knowledge about addiction recovery.
